Matcha Scoop (Chashaku) - Dark Bamboo

Traditional handcrafted dark bamboo scoop (spoon) for matcha preparation.
The curved portion of the spoon is used to scoop a small portion of matcha tea and place in matcha bowl.

MATERIAL: dark seasoned bamboo wood. Black bamboo is extraordinarily durable.
DIMENSIONS: 18 cm
Black bamboo is smoked naturally and follows a very special preparation method. The pattern and color on Chashaku may be drastically different between each one. 

After use wipe off any matcha with a soft, dry cloth or paper. Avoid getting any moisture on the Chashaku as this may cause it to absorb the matcha.
Avoid soaps as these can damage the porous bamboo.
Not dishwasher safe.
